Blues look to win seventh consecutive in Calgary

The Blues will hit the road after going 4-0-0 last week (winning 6 of their last 6). They were also given the 2017 Winter Classic. Even if they lose tonight, I'm still satisfied. Tune it to FSMW at 8:00 p.m.

Vladimir Tarasenko was awarded the NHL's First Star of the Week with three goals and three assists. This goes on to prove that, when Tarasenko is on fire, so are the St. Louis Blues. His next goal will be the 100th of his NHL career.

The Dallas Stars do no have a game tonight, so one point would put the Blues in first place (Central Division). I wouldn't have believed you if you told me the Blues would play for first in early February.

The only change in the lines from Saturday's game against the Stars is Magnus Paajarvi will be subbed in to play with Backes and Berglund.

Here are the projected lines:

Forwards
Schwartz- Lehtera- Tarasenko
Fabbri- Stastny- Brouwer
Paajarvi- Berglund- Backes
Upshall- Brodziak- Reaves

Defense
Bouwmeester- Pietrangelo
Gunnarsson- Shattenkirk
Edmundon- Parayko

Goalie
Allen
