Pietrangelo might return, Blues face Predators

The St. Louis Blues will play the Nashville Predators at the Bridgestone Arena today at 2:00 p.m. Alex Pietrangelo could return to the lineup, but the Blues have lost Brian Elliott (reevaluated in 4 weeks), Alexander Steen (reevaluated in 4 weeks), and Jori Lehtera (uncertain) in recent games.

I'm not too confident right about now. I think Thursday's game was a great example of what happens with this surplus of injured players: it's hard to grab points.

Ken Hitchcock said that Pietrangelo's return is completely up to the player today. Follow @bluesbuzzblog on Twitter for the update as soon as it is released. Since it's a day game, the Blues were missing some players in practice due to "maintenance issues". Those players included Jaden Schwartz and Robert Bortuzzo.

With Lehtera injured, he will miss today's game—David Backes and Troy Brouwer are the only players on the team to have played in every game this season.

Tune in later for the projected lines...
