Game day. Blues take on the New Jersey Devils at 6:00 p.m. Jake Allen and Corey Schneider will be starting between the posts.

Martin Havlat will make his Blues debut tonight against his former team. Scott Gomez, who had a 34 points as a Devil last season, is starting tonight too.  Patrick Berglund, Paul Stastny, Jaden Schwartz, and Steve Ott are injured. Robert Bortuzzo and Ryan Reaves (after being fined) are scratched.
Projected Lines:
Forwards
Steen- Lehtera- Tarasenko
Upshall- Backes- Fabbri
Havlat- Gomez - Brouwer
Paajjarvi- Brodziak- Jaskin

Defense
Boumeester- Pietrangelo
Edmundson- Shattenkirk
Gunnarsson- Parayko

Blues Buzz keys to the game:
- Allen needs to stay red-hot against the Devils. He has made 72 consecutive saves from relieving Brian Elliot on Thursday's game against the Blackhawks and Saturday's game against the Predators. Allen saved all 45 shots he faced at Nashville, claiming his second shutout of the year.
- Our Offense needs to beat Schneider. The Blues have produced 10 goals in their last two games. Vladimir Tarasenko, tied with Alexander Steen with 13 points, looks to score against the Devils. He hasn't scored in... Well he didn't score last game (he had an assist). It seems like he hasn't scored in forever, but he scored the OT game-winner against Chicago last Thursday. I guess I've gotten used to him scoring every game. Here's a sweet goal he scored against the Devils last season:
