The Blues enter the regular season with momentum. After finishing 4-2-0 in the preseason, the squad will meet-up with Connor McDavid and the Edmonton Oilers this Thursday.

In these six games the Blues traded wins with the Columbus Blue Jackets and the Chicago Blackhawks, but beat the Dallas Stars twice. In the two games against the Stars, the Blues only allowed one goal, scoring ten total.

The Blues beat their rival team, the Chicago Blackhawks, 5-2 in their preseason finale. This was Jori Lehtera's first game due to his ankle surgery on Aug. 4. He made the most of it by scoring a short-handed goal and setting up Troy Brouwer with an assist.

"It was not an easy game for me," says Lehtera, "It's a good start."

Now, the team is in Ann Arbor, Michigan, for team bonding. This gives the guys some time to relax before the season starts. The boys get a sense of college hockey again, which inspires stories and memories.

Jaden Schwartz reflects, "We get to relax a little and get together before the season starts, do some things as a team."

Opening night is October 8, 7:00 p.m. at the Scottrade Center.

Preseason Lead Scorers:
1. Vladimir Tarasenko- 4 goals
2. Dmitrij Jasken- 3 goals
3. Paul Stastny- 3 goals
