The St. Louis Blues drafted Vince Dunn with a 26th pick in the 2nd round. Dunn played for the Niagara Icedogs in the OHL for two years, with 89 points total. This 6'0" defenseman wears No. 4 on his back to solute his idol, Bobby Orr. He led the OHL rookie defensemen with 33 points in the 2013-2014 season. Needless to say, Vince is a offensive defenseman. He had 66 assists and 23 goals in two seasons with the Icedogs. Dunn is built like Erik Karlsson, with narrow shoulders that could use some extra strength and conditioning. He kickstarts the offense with his fluent skating and great puck control. He was one of the best passers in the OHL. Simple or stretch; always tape-to-tape. It only takes him a couple strides until he is at full speed. He has great vision and patience, but is aggressive when he needs to be, often pinching to make a play. Vince should fit in well with the Blues, and bring us what Shattenkirk brought us last postseason; offensive defense.
