The well-rested Blues head up north to meet the New York Islanders tonight, 6:30 p.m. They look to improve their record after an embarrassing loss to the Florida Panthers on Tuesday.

The Blues are sitting on a solid 15-7-3 record which places them right above the 14-8-4 Islanders. The Blues have played one less game than the Islanders (25 GP), but have one more point than them (33 points). Still behind the Dallas Stars in the Central Division, the Blues look to grab two important points tonight.

On the road, the Blues are 8-4-1. The Islanders are 9-4-2 at home.

Jaroslav Halak —name sounds familiar — will be on the bench tonight as Thomas Greiss will start for the Islanders.  He has a record of 7-4-2.

Brian Elliot will start for the Blues (Allen to play Saturday).
