The Blues are back home tonight after winning three of four games on the road. One of those games was against the Blackhawks (need I remind you how that went down?). Including their last meet-up with the Blues, the Blackhawks have lost three of their last four games. (In case you missed it, the Blues scored four unanswered goals while trailing the Hawks 5-2. Vladimir Tarasenko had the OT goal to give the Blues a 6-5 win.) Don't expect 11 goals in tonight's matchup. Jake Allen will get a chance to redeem his faulty start on Thursday's game against the Rangers, as he allowed three goals on five shots. Martin Havlat has left the Blues after signing a one-year contract. The forward scored one goal in two games as a Blue. He is said to have left due to physical issues. With Havlat gone, Ryan Reaves will return to the lineup after being a healthy scratch for the previous two games. Projected Lines: Forwards Steen- Lehtera- Tarasenko Upshall- Backes- Fabbri Paajarvi- Gomez - Brouwer Jaskin- Brodziak- Reaves Defense Boumeester- Pietrangelo Edmundson- Shattenkirk Gunnarsson- Parayko Blues Buzz Keys to the Game - Allen needs to redeem himself. This is a very winnable game. After digging a hole for the team in Thursday's game, Allen needs to prove (again) that he is the starting goalie for the St. Louis Blues. - Defense needs to play their position. In Thursday's game I saw Rangers forwards sitting in front of the net unbothered. Our defense is responsible for clearing them out of the goalie's face to let him follow the shot.
