The Blues will skate one more time before the new year—tonight. Tarasenko wasn't at the morning skate this morning. With Parise out of the Wild's lineup, St. Louis is expecting a great game against a Central Division rival. Photo: USA TODAY Sports/Jasen Vinlove The (23-12-4) Blues play the (19-10-6) Wild tonight at 7:00 p.m. First off, Hitch wants everybody to know that Vladimir Tarasenko WILL be playing tonight. Jake Allen will be at the other end of the ice. Both teams have beat the other this season. If you remember, Robby Fabbri's injury was in the second game of the season—against these guys. Fabbri is ranked first among rookies in the month of December. Zach Parise won't be playing due to a lower body injury. I think tonight will be a physical game despite the Wild's tendency to walk away from fights but sneak in cheap shots. Blues at home: 13-6-2 Wild on the road: 5-5-5 How sweet would it be to head into 2016 with a win? Here are the projected lines: Forwards Steen- Stastny- Tarasenko Paajarvi- Backes- Brouwer Fabbri- Lehtera- Jaskin Upshall- Brodziak- Reaves Defense Bouwmeester- Pietrangelo Parayko- Shattenkirk Gunnarsson- Bortuzzo Goalie Allen Also, if you haven't already, check out: Revisiting the Erik Johnson trade and its impact.
