It's a boring Tuesday morning/afternoon and you really miss Blues hockey. In a desperate attempt to brighten your day, here are my favorite goals from last season. Photo: Yahoo Sports 5. Robby Fabbri's First Goal Connor McDavid was expected to be the headliner of this season opener, but Robby Fabbri stole the show by recording his first NHL goal (game-winner) in his first NHL game. 4. Backes Game 1 OT Winner I know it's a weird goal, but Backes needs to be on this list. 3. Brian Elliott's Goal Line Glove Save Right... so... this isn't a goal... but Brian Elliott also needs to be on this list. It wasn't hard finding an Elliott highlight. He kept the Blues alive when Allen was injured, and he (along with Tarasenko and Brouwer) is the reason the Blues eliminated the Blackhawks. Here's one of my favorite saves from last season. 2. Parayko's Sweet backhander This goal speaks for itself. 1. Brouwer's Game 7 Winner This goal eliminated the Chicago Blackhawks. It's undoubtably the highlight of the year. Watch it. If you're a Blues fan and you watch this without grinning, you aren't a Blues fan. I hope these videos sparked some good memories. Hell, a smile is what I was really going for. Blues hockey returns in about two months—stay strong. P.J. Cox
